Taiwan celebrates many festivals every year. For example, during the Mid-Autumn Festival in August of the lunar calendar, I really enjoy the special mooncakes associated with this festival. In the evening, I can also gather with friends to have a barbecue and admire the full moon.

The Lunar New Year is also one of my favorite festivals. I love getting together with my family to have a big New Year’s Eve dinner, and playing games with close friends who give gifts during the holiday always fills me with joy. Plus, the long vacation period is definitely a highlight for me!

The Dragon Boat Festival is also one of my favorite festivals. During the Dragon Boat Festival holiday, I love eating rice dumplings and learning how to make them with my family. It’s also really interesting to watch the traditional dragon boat races on TV.
